Phil Petersen, PresidentWith nearly 30 years devoted to home building and land development, Phil has been a major force in the growth of the active adult homebuilding industry in the United States. With Partner Dan Green, Phil has taken the active adult community concept out of the big cities, and into thriving and exciting communities in the most “liveable” parts of Arizona.
Phil comes with a unique background. He helped form a very successful, Omaha based, rock band, The Chevrons, at age 13. The band was Phil’s life, along with two college degrees, into his twenties. After starting his family, and embarking on a successful career in marketing and real estate, including a time as Vice President with Del Webb, Phil formed Brookfield Communities nearly twenty years ago, with Partner Dan Green. Fox Creek was their first 640 acre project, eventually growing to it’s current 730 acres. Verde Santa Fe is a 500 acre project. Brookfield creates the master plan concept, develops the land and builds each home to meet the expectations of their clients.
Dan Green, Principal
Dan has over twenty-five years experience in the homebuilding industry specializing in the newest and most sophisticated Community Planning and Home Floor Plan Design. Dan was trained as an academic and after graduate school taught Mathematics, Decision Sciences, and Marketing Research to both undergraduate and graduate students. While teaching, Dan started his own research company and consulted with many of the nation’s largest firms including serving as Research Consultant with the Dell Webb Corporation. While at Dell Webb, Dan and Phil formed a research company and the success of this firm led directly to Brookfield Communities.
Together, the Brookfield partners have provided a great lifestyle to thousands of folks who have chosen to make Arizona their dream home. And, new Arizona projects are in the planning stages.
